August 19, 2021, Chișinău - at the initiative of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the interdepartmental working group was created to be responsible for the elaboration of a new substantial aid program. It will fulfil the functions of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Romania on non-reimbursable assistance of 100 million euros, signed in 2010 and expired on 28 March 2021.

At the first meeting, the working group agreed on how to start negotiations for the signing of the new agreement to access development projects in priority areas.

The Working Group consists of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European integration, the Ministry of infrastructure and Regional Development, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health.
