The Head of Moldovan Diplomacy Will Undertake a Working Visit to Luxembourg on EU Cooperation Matters

October 20, 2025 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi will participate in the meeting of foreign ministers on security and interregional connectivity, held in Luxembourg on the sidelines of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council.

His participation takes place at the invitation of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, and the European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Síkela.

 The meeting is structured into two sessions: the security session, which will bring together countries from the Black Sea region and EU member states, and the connectivity session, which will also include countries from Central Asia.

During the event, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will hold a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos to discuss matters related to EU foreign policy and security in the context of the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession process.

Additionally, during the ministerial meeting, Mihai Popșoi will hold a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from EU member states as well as partners from outside the European Union.
