June 29, 2021, Ljubljana - the Ambassador of the Republic Of Moldova to Slovenia, residing in Budapest, Oleg Țulea, presented the letters of credence to the president of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, during an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana.
During the meeting with the Slovenian President, Ambassador Oleg Tulea conveyed cordial congratulations from the authorities of the Republic Of Moldova on Independence Day. The Ambassador showed his conviction on Slovenia's successful exercise of the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During the discussion, the Moldovan diplomat noted the dynamic nature of bilateral relations. He advocated for intensification of political, economic and cultural aspects of the relations between the two states.
For his part, President Borut Pahor reconfirmed his country's openness to further support the Republic Of Moldova in its efforts to integrate into the European Union while promoting an ambitious reform agenda.
