June 23, 2021, Vaduz, Liechtenstein - Ambassador Tatiana Molcean presented to Prince Alois of Liechtenstein the letters of accreditation as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Principality of Liechtenstein, residing in Geneva.
The ceremony was preceded by talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports, Dominique Hasler, during which the good cooperation relations between the Republic of Moldova and Liechtenstein were highly appreciated, both bilaterally and multilaterally. The interest of our country was expressed in consolidating and diversifying these relations, giving priority to the commercial-economic and socio-humanitarian field.
At the same time, Tatiana Molcean expressed gratitude for the development assistance provided to the educational and social institutions in our country.
In turn, Dominique Hasler confirmed that the Republic of Moldova will continue to be a priority country for Liechtenstein in providing assistance, expressing interest in expanding projects aimed at vocational education and the involvement of young people in international debates. The continuation of the dialogue could take place during a visit to the Republic of Moldova, but also on the sidelines of multilateral meetings.
The interest in concluding the negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the EFTA Member States, including Liechtenstein, was also confirmed as soon as possible.
During the meetings, the senior officials wished a lot of success to Ambassador Tatiana Molcean in carrying out the high mission entrusted to her, assuring her of their support throughout the entire term.
