12 November 2025, Chișinău – State Secretary Carolina Perebinos met today with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, Paun Rohovei, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the European Union accession process, in the context of the conclusions of the European Commission’s Enlargement Package of 4 November 2025.

The diplomats reaffirmed the firm commitment of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine to progress on the European path and agreed to continue sharing their experience gained in the integration process. The parties also discussed the schedule of planned bilateral contacts in the context of the new Government of the Republic of Moldova assuming its mandate.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the Transnistrian settlement, emphasizing the importance of continuing dialogue on this issue.
