July 29, 2025, Chișinău – Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi held a farewell meeting with Ambassador Kelly Keiderling, Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, at the conclusion of her mandate.
During the discussion, the contribution of the OSCE Mission to maintaining peace and facilitating dialogue between Chișinău and Tiraspol was highlighted, in a regional context marked by significant challenges.
Minister Popșoi expressed gratitude for the close cooperation and Ambassador Keiderling’s commitment to promoting stability and human rights. He also reiterated the importance of continuing effective collaboration with the OSCE Mission, including through concrete projects that bring communities on both sides of the Dniester closer together and contribute to building a climate of trust and stability.
In turn, Ambassador Keiderling stated that Moldova will always remain close to her heart and appreciated Chișinău’s openness and commitment to promoting durable peace. She expressed confidence that international partners will continue to support the settlement process in a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and mutual respect.
Finally, the officials emphasized the importance of the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the OSCE Mission in maintaining constructive dialogue and ongoing cooperation in support of peace and stability in the region.
