June 24, 2025, Chișinău – Today, we mark the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, an opportunity to recognize the valuable contribution of women in promoting peace, international cooperation, and strengthening the Republic of Moldova’s position on the global stage.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends heartfelt congratulations to all women serving in the Moldovan diplomatic corps—both at the central office and in our diplomatic missions abroad. Your professionalism, dedication, and perseverance are a source of inspiration and a cornerstone of our foreign service.

Established by the UN General Assembly through Resolution 76/269, this day highlights the importance of the full, equal, and meaningful participation of women in diplomacy—a strategic priority that we firmly support.

The Ministry remains committed to promoting gender equality and unlocking the full potential of all professionals in the diplomatic service, regardless of gender, guided by the principles of meritocracy, integrity, and excellence.
