The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is actively involved in the process of preparing, labeling, and dispatching ballots to polling stations abroad. In total, 864,300 ballots have been received, intended for the 297 polling stations established overseas for in-person voting.
For the September 28, 2025 elections, 301 polling stations will be operational, including those designated for mail-in voting. Printing the ballots required approximately 9 tons of paper, reflecting a large-scale logistical effort.
Through this mobilization, the MFA ensures that, on election day, every citizen of the Republic of Moldova abroad will be able to exercise their right to vote under safe, fair, and transparent conditions. Approximately 4,000 people – members of the electoral offices, consisting of diplomats, consuls, and volunteers from the diaspora – will oversee the smooth conduct of the elections, ensuring that every voice is heard.
The exact addresses of the polling stations can be consulted on the MFA website and the official platform diaspora.cec.md. Updated information is also available on the official pages of the Moldovan diplomatic missions and consular offices.
Polling stations abroad will be open from 07:00 to 21:00 (local time). Every vote counts. Every vote shapes the future of the Republic of Moldova.
