18 November 2025, Chișinău – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi held bilateral meetings today with Romania’s State Secretary for Strategic Affairs at the MFA, Ana Tinca, and Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olexandr Mischenko.
In the dialogue with Ana Tinca, they discussed strengthening the strategic partnership with Romania, Bucharest’s consistent support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova, cooperation in the fields of security and combating hybrid threats, as well as attracting investments and expanding joint development projects.
With Olexandr Mischenko, the discussions focused on the security situation in Ukraine and the regional impact of Russian aggression, Chișinău’s firm support for Ukraine, and advancing bilateral and trilateral cooperation, including within the “Odesa Triangle” format.
“In a complex regional context, only together with Romania and Ukraine can we advance resolutely on the path of European integration,” stated Minister Mihai Popșoi.
The meetings took place on the sidelines of the Moldova Security Forum, which brings together officials, experts, and international partners in Chișinău to discuss regional security developments and joint solutions for strengthening resilience.
