July 14, 2025, Chișinău – Between July 14–15, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi is undertaking a working visit to Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.
The head of Moldova’s diplomacy will hold talks with foreign ministers of EU member states during the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union, at the invitation of the High Representative. Mihai Popșoi will address the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession agenda, the regional security context, new opportunities for cooperation with the EU in the field of security, and strengthening resilience against hybrid threats.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi will also hold bilateral meetings with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas, the European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, as well as with several foreign ministers of EU member states.
Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will take part in a session of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and will meet with Members of the European Parliament from various political groups.
On July 15, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will meet with a group of Moldovan citizens residing in Brussels.
