June 10, 2020, Chișinău - Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Oleg Țulea had a telephonic conversation today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, Arancha González Laya.

The agenda of the Moldo-Spanish cooperation, the impetus of the bilateral political dialogue, the dynamisation of the commercial-economic cooperation and the extension of the legal framework were the main topics of discussion addressed by the two officials. On this occasion, the efforts to advance the negotiations of the Bilateral Agreement in the field of social security, of major importance for the members of the Moldovan community in Spain, were appreciated. 

At the same time, recent developments related to the management of the current epidemiological situation were addressed. In this context, Minister Oleg Țulea welcomed the efforts of the Madrid authorities in combating the coronavirus pandemic and thanked the Spanish side for their effective cooperation in the repatriation efforts of Moldovan citizens who found themselves in difficulty in Spain.
