October 16, 2025, Chișinău – State Secretary Sergiu Mihov held a meeting with a group of students, members of the Danish Foreign Policy Society U35, a branch of the Danish Foreign Policy Forum DUSU35.

In order to foster dialogue with central and local public authorities as well as the civil society sector, a group of 23 young specialists from the Danish Foreign Policy Society U35 is visiting Chișinău from October 11 to 19. The visit takes place in the context of strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Denmark, as well as promoting experience exchange among young professionals in the field of foreign affairs.

Discussions between the student group and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focused on the priorities of Moldova’s foreign policy, including the objective of opening accession negotiations with the European Union across all six clusters, during Denmark’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The functioning of Moldova’s diplomatic corps and Moldovan-Danish bilateral relations were also addressed.

Key areas of cooperation with Denmark discussed included agricultural investments, cybersecurity, renewable energy, waste management, education, robotics, and the development of tourism infrastructure. In this context, the State Secretary highlighted Denmark’s support for strengthening Moldova’s cybersecurity through the EUPM, which enhances institutional resilience and reinforces the partnership between the two countries in addressing cyber threats.
