Recommendations Regarding the Possibility of Evacuation – State of Israel (Updated June 16, 2025)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova informs Moldovan citizens in the State of Israel that, due to the deteriorating security situation in the region, it is recommended to leave the territory of the State of Israel for the duration of the ongoing conflict.

Moldovan authorities are closely monitoring the developments on the ground and are in constant contact with international partners and competent Israeli authorities to identify the safest evacuation or transit solutions.

Information on Open Land Border Points:

  • Allenby Bridge (to Jordan)

    • Hours: 08:00 – 14:00

  • Yitzhak Rabin Crossing (to Jordan)

    • Hours: 08:00 – 20:00

  • Taba (to Egypt)

    • Open 24/7

  • Jordan River Crossing (to Jordan)

    • Hours: 09:00 – 16:00

Important: Moldovan citizens intending to transit to Egypt or Jordan must comply with the entry conditions for these countries.

Travel Requirements:

  • Egypt:

    • Visa required for entry: Link to visa information

    • The visa can be obtained in advance or, in some cases, directly at the Taba border point – the decision lies with Egyptian authorities.

  • Jordan:

    • Visa is mandatory: Link to visa information

    • It can be issued at the border (including Allenby Bridge or Jordan River Crossing), but Jordanian authorities may deny entry without justification.

    • It is recommended to have cash available to pay the visa fee.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the recommendation for all Moldovan citizens who are in the State of Israel and do not have essential obligations to consider leaving voluntarily as soon as possible, using safe and available routes.

Citizens are encouraged to stay informed from official sources and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities.
