October 1, 2021, Dubai – Between October 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022, the Republic of Moldova participates at the World Expo in Dubai with a national pavilion. Internationally, the exhibition is a unique platform for presenting the 192 participating countries in a single space with the involvement of the governmental and business sectors. Also, this is a great opportunity for visitors to explore the participating countries without traveling to them. 

In the framework of the event, the Republic of Moldova participates with a national pavilion that covers an area of 393 sq m. The concept involves promotion of the country’s image on the international arena by showing the Moldovan culture and traditions, the agri-food industry, the most successful business models, as well as the use of information technologies in promoting the country’s profile abroad.  

National clothes, handicrafts and screenings about the winemaking process, information panels and presentations about the national economy and investing possibilities are exhibited in the pavilion. The pavilion is dedicated to our Country Brand „Tree of Life” that relates about Moldova from the perspective of the following areas:  „Discover”, „Taste”, „Invest”, „Craft and Wine”.   

At the same time, Moldovan producers will have the opportunity to participate in the economic events that will take place at Dubai Expo where they could be a part of B2B meetings and explore new sales markets.  

During the exhibition, on March 3, 2022, will be celebrated the Day of the Republic of Moldova. On this occasion, a concert with national artists will be organized as well as the visit of an official delegation. Guests will have the opportunity to try national gastronomic food and participate in other linked events. 

According to the host’s estimation, the world exhibition from Dubai will be visited by approximately 2,5 million people, 70% –  consisting foreign visitors. The Republic of Moldova participates for the fourth time in an event of such a magnitude. Previously, it participated at World Expo in Hannover, Germany (2000), Shanghai, People's Republic of China (2010), and Milan, Italy (2015).
