The Republic of Moldova is the only country in Eastern Europe and Eurasia explicitly mentioned in the National Security and Department of State Appropriations Act, which provides an allocation of USD 36.5 million to strengthen national security. The law was adopted by the United States Congress and signed by Donald Trump.
This decision reflects the high level of trust and the maturity of the security partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America, as well as the U.S. continued commitment to supporting the Republic of Moldova in a regional context marked by multiple challenges.
