Vice Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi Meets with Moldovan Citizens in Poland

8 May 2025, Warsaw – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi had a warm meeting with Moldovan citizens residing in Poland. The gathering provided an opportunity to discuss the country's European journey, the benefits of joining the larger European family, and the importance of the diaspora's involvement in this process.

The minister also addressed the improvement of consular services, which is a priority for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Recently, the consular office at the Embassy in Warsaw has been equipped with modern facilities, which will help modernize and diversify the services offered to Moldovan citizens.

Additionally, the expansion of the legislative framework was discussed, aiming to bring concrete benefits to citizens. Currently, Moldovans living in Poland can take advantage of provisions concerning social insurance agreements and the exchange of driving licenses.

Minister Mihai Popșoi expressed his happiness in seeing how much Moldovan citizens care about the country they were born in and how eager they are for it to become more prosperous and developed.
