June 26, 2020, Chișinău - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Oleg Țulea, participated today at the reception of a shipment of humanitarian aid offered by the Government of Poland. The event was also attended by the Polish Ambassador in Chișinău, Bartłomiej Zdaniuk.

Minister Oleg Țulea thanked the Polish authorities for the valuable shipment of humanitarian aid generously provided to our country, consisting of consumables and protective equipment.

The Head of the Moldovan diplomacy expressed full appreciation for the prompt reaction of the Polish authorities to the request of the Republic of Moldova to provide assistance in the fight against the pandemic, especially in the context of Poland's creation of an emergency fund for the urgent needs of public health institutions from the Republic of Moldova, stating that Poland has started support for our country since March, with the onset of the pandemic.

Oleg Țulea mentioned that the assistance provided to our country in this unprecedented situation not only for the Republic of Moldova but also for the whole world, is, first of all, a gesture of solidarity and support that proves once again that Poland is a reliable partner, which intervenes quickly when the situation requires it. In this context, Oleg Țulea underlined that the support of friendly countries, including Poland, will allow the Republic of Moldova to cope with this difficult situation. 

Minister Țulea and Ambassador Zdaniuk evoked the remarkable developments in recent years in the relations between the Republic of Moldova and Poland, from a political and economic point of view, expressing their readiness to jointly contribute to their continuous development.
