The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala to the Republic of Moldova Herbert Estuardo Meneses Coronado, with residence in Moscow, presented his credentials on May 7^th, 2014. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Gustavo Adolfo López Calderón succeeded Ambassador Coronaro as of June 12^th, 2019.

Trade and economic relations

According to the National Bureau of Statistics data, the volume of foreign trade of the Republic of Moldova with the Republic of Guatemala in 2021 registered the amount of USD 73,46 thousand. Imports amounted to USD 73,46 thousand. (These data do not reflect export and import operations of enterprises and economic agents from the left bank of the Nistru river and Bender municipality.)
