October 7, 2023, Chișinău - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration closely monitors the situation in Israel and strongly condemns the rocket attacks launched from the Gaza Strip and the infiltration of militants into Israeli territory, further escalating the security situation in the Middle East.

„Moldova vehemently denounces the massive attacks on Israel carried out by Hamas. We express our deepest sympathies to the innocent victims and firmly reject these acts of terror and violence. Moldova stands firmly with Israel and its people,” -  Minister Nicu Popescu conveyed.
